The duration of Jeep Safari Salou tours can vary depending on the specific itinerary and the number of stops. However, most tours typically last between 6-8 hours allowing participants to fully enjoy the adventure and explore the key attractions. Half day excursions are also available, running to 3-4 hours.

The tour covers a range of landmarks and varies from tour to tour, the birthplace of Antoni Gaudí,  a spooky abandoned village. A charming “red town”.  A ruined castle with a captivating history. Panoramic viewpoints offering stunning vistas of the Balearic Sea.  Parque Natural de la Montaña de Montserrat,  and much more, providing participants with a comprehensive and immersive experience of the local surroundings.

Age restrictions may apply, and participants are typically required to be 7 or older. Please check specific tour details for age-related guidelines, child seats may be available depending on bookings.

Jeep Safari Salou tours typically utilise 4×4  vehicles that are designed for off-road driving and can comfortably accommodate small groups of participants.

Jeeps and Land Rovers are interchangeable for many people, and we do love Jeeps. We are also very fond of Land Rovers, and their fine tradition of international exploration. “Bene facere, aut non facere.”

Children are welcome, with specific guidelines in place to ensure their safety and enjoyment. However, it is important to note that some of the off-road excursions may be more challenging for younger children. Parents or guardians should carefully consider their child’s age and abilities before booking a tour. Please refer to tour details for age-specific recommendations. They must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.

To be absolutely clear, there are no lions, tigers nor giraffes. Spain is not the Serengeti in Africa, and it is a long way to Longleat Safari Park.

Built to tackle tough conditions, Jeeps feature advanced four-wheel-drive systems and resilient suspensions, providing a controlled ride on rugged landscapes, muddy trails, or uneven surfaces. The emphasis on durability ensures that Jeeps are reliable companions for those seeking rugged off-road exploration.

Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking and off-road excursions, flip flops and fashion shoes are not recommended. It can very occasionally get cold up in the mountains even in mid summer, if the weather forecast is windy, remember you’re going to the top of a mountain, nearly as high as Ben Nevis. Additionally, bringing a hat and sunglasses to protect from the sun. Sunscreen and insect repellent (DEET 50% is very effective). A towel – to dry or wrap up in and a multitude of uses. A light jacket or sweater for cooler moments. A backpack to carry personal belongings. A camera or smartphone to capture memories.

Tours are available year-round, but the ideal time depends on personal preferences. The best time is between April and October, the hottest months being June July and August. It can quite hot in those months. September is very pleasant, as the autumn draws in the chance of rain does increase. Consider factors such as weather and seasonal attractions when planning your adventure.

The stunning scenery, historical landmarks, and unique cultural encounters provide ample opportunities for photography. At your own risk of course.

Yes, some tours may include meals or snacks, depending on customer demand. A full picnic experience can be arranged should your party book a car exclusively for a picnic adventure. Check the specific tour details for information on the catering provided. A delicious lunch at a local restaurant is also a regular feature. Please note: Restaurant meals and café refreshments are not included.

While most Jeep Safari Salou tours follow a set itinerary, some tours may offer customisation options, when on a tour we take into account the consensus of what people will enjoy doing, the routes do vary and can be flexible. All types of tours are conditional on weather permitting and time allowing. Changes may be made without notice at the discretion of the guides on the day. Contact us to inquire about the possibility of tailoring the itinerary to your preferences.

Tours are designed to be accessible to a wide range of participants. Passengers do need to be moderately mobile, for getting in out of the Jeep, it may be necessary to climb some stairs, old buildings have an exemption from modifications for mobility. We can not offer manual handling, that is very strictly the responsibility of the passengers and their companions. We can take and assist with a folding manual wheel chair. The difficulty level is generally moderate, providing an adventurous experience for all.

Jeep Safari Salou tours are intended to be accessible to participants of all abilities. However, it is important to note that some of the off-road excursions may be more challenging for individuals with mobility issues or disabilities. Please contact us in advance to discuss your specific needs and ensure that the tour is suitable for you.

Jeep Safari Salou tours typically range from easy to moderate difficulty, with some off-road excursions that require a bit more physical exertion. Participants should be in good physical condition and able to handle uneven terrain and bumpy rides.

While there are no stringent fitness requirements, participants should be in reasonably good health, be able to get in and out of a seat, and walk a few paces. People who have had recent surgery, or who suffer from serious back or neck problems are advised to consider that the off road sections are very bumpy, and happily for most people can be lengthy. This may not be the best adventure for you.

There are parts of the route where there is no mobile phone coverage at all, and we don’t currently carry a defibrillator (it is on our shopping list).  Consult with your doctor if you have specific health concerns, we would prefer you not to die of excitement.

Follow the instructions of your tour guide at all times.

Remain seated inside the vehicle during off-road excursions.

Do not exit the vehicle in areas designated as restricted or dangerous. Do not open the rear door leave it to your guide.

Be mindful of your surroundings and watch out for uneven terrain, rocks, and other obstacles.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for walking and off-road excursions.

Bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.

Apply sunscreen and insect repellent before heading out on your tour.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

Inform your tour guide of any medical conditions or allergies you may have.

Group booking discounts may be available; please contact us to inquire with you chosen jeep company. Special arrangements for occasions (birthdays and engagements for example) can often be accommodated with prior notice.

We pick you up at or near where you are staying, and drop you off at the end, right back where you started. Although if you want to be dropped by the beach, or near the shops (on route) that can be arranged.
